Rice Gluten Feed
Rice gluten feed is a byproduct of rice starch, sweeteners, oil, and other products produced by wet milling. It is made by spraying rice slurry onto rice bran that has been separated from the rice starch manufacturing process, followed by steam drying. Rice Gluten is a fiber-rich ingredient that also contains a significant amount of protein and starch. It is used as a feed additive in cattle diets as an energy and protein source that aids digestion and absorption. It is the only natural pre-emergent herbicide that is effective in the turf grass industry.
